Villa Tayrona

We brought 23 people, from a baby to grandparents, to Villa Tayrona for a destination wedding, and it was a perfect setting. Elly and her Team made it easy for our family to spend good time together in a comfortable, welcoming, impeccable space. In all my travels around the world, I’ve never had a host, including every staff member, give us this kind of personal attention and care. They noticed what we needed and responded to it with real thoughtfulness.

We were organizing a wedding from abroad, and Elly made the whole process feel easy. She was warm, organized, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Villa Tayrona was a wonderful place for the celebration, and the team supported us all the way through. The meals from Chef Fer and his team were delicious and felt like an occasion each time, with service that was attentive and fun. The house staff were kind and welcoming, and the villa stayed very clean. Alex, who was our go-to person on site, was fantastic and seemed to have a solution ready before we even asked. There’s a lovely balance between shared gathering spaces and private corners, so our group could be together and still have space to recharge. The villa was even more beautiful in person than in the photos, which was a rare surprise. Elly and her husband have put so much care into the design and guest comfort. It feels cool and peaceful, like a retreat where the stress just fades away. We couldn’t have found a better home for our celebration. If you want a beautiful, well-run place with a lot of heart for getting together with loved ones, I highly recommend it.

We spent five days at Villa Tayrona with my work team for the company summit in Bucerias. The rooms were beautiful, but the people running the villa made the stay especially memorable. They handled everything we needed, even last-minute changes and requests, booked things for us without hesitation, and kept us supplied with the best margaritas. Thanks so much to Elly, Alex, chef Fernando and his team, and the whole cleaning crew for making it such a special stay!

There were 19 of us, from age 2 to almost 80, celebrating milestone birthdays over a week, and it worked perfectly. It had the helpful parts of an all-inclusive, like dinners provided, cleanup, and local suggestions, but without other guests or a sterile feel. The place was just as gorgeous as the photos, which I’d been worried about. Elly was incredibly kind and quick to respond. We’d love to come back, and I’d give it more than five stars if I could.
