Cabo Inn Hotel

It’s right downtown, but surprisingly quiet. The rooms are super basic, though, so this is best if you just need a decent place to sleep and relax after days out exploring. Thanks for the hospitality!

The shower was a little tough to use as a tall person, since the water comes out more like a short mist than a proper stream. There were also some mosquitoes or other pests, but that seems typical for the area and staff were working on it. Even with those issues, this is a beautiful, quaint hotel, and the staff were so helpful and lovely to talk with, especially Maggy. I wanted an authentic Cabo stay rather than an all-inclusive resort, and the local shops and restaurants nearby helped me experience the city that way. There are lots of shared spaces too, which made it easy to meet people while traveling solo. I’d absolutely stay again.

We stayed in the honeymoon suite for my 30th birthday and loved it. Whenever something came up, they helped sort it out. The hotel fits the city’s vibe, and everything from food to the beach was within walking distance. If you want to get a feel for Cabo instead of staying in a regular, boring hotel, this is a great choice. Can’t wait to return.

I only planned on two nights, but ended up staying all seven nights of my visit. The best part was the wonderful front desk staff and cleaning crew. It’s safe and immaculately clean, with the front door locking at 9pm. There’s a lovely garden with plants and decor, a beautiful top-floor patio, and a shared kitchen downstairs. The location is hard to beat: Walmart, restaurants, buses, and the marina are a short walk away, and the beach with more restaurants is about 15 minutes away. It’s also quiet. Rooms facing the street get some traffic noise during the day, while the others are very quiet. They aren’t fancy, and most are small, but they’re comfortable with nice beds and work well for solo travelers. Some rooms are larger. The showers are a little odd, with good hot water that speeds up and slows down. The AC works great and keeps the room comfortable. Great price, so five stars all things considered.
