Medano Hotel and Spa

I’m already planning my next trip here. The staff are incredible and work so hard. Luis at reception was always so helpful, chef Ruben Garcia made a huge effort to prepare the best vegetarian food for me, and Vinalay and Jessica in the restaurant were amazing, working hard all the time to keep people happy. You’re lucky to have them all. Thank you so much :)

Getting around was easy since Hotel Medano is within walking distance of Medano Beach and downtown. We could explore and eat out without needing transportation. The hotel was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas, and everything was well maintained, so we felt comfortable right away. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and eager to help. You can tell they care about the guest experience. The room ceiling fan was a bit clunky and shook when turned on, but the air conditioning worked perfectly, so our comfort wasn’t affected. The other small downsides were no room service and a hotel restaurant that wasn’t that great. Still, the service, cleanliness, and location were excellent. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting.

The location made it easy to enjoy both the beach and downtown Cabo, each just a short walk away, although the hotel isn’t directly on the beach. I stayed at Medano Hotel and Spa for six days in mid-March, and I’ll definitely return. It’s a gem for convenient location, great value, and outstanding service. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived, with warm, professional, accommodating interactions throughout. My room was spotless and quiet, a perfect retreat after exploring. The amenities were top notch and the price was an incredible value compared with other options nearby. The food at the bar and restaurant wasn’t a highlight, and there’s no room service or Jacuzzi, but those drawbacks were outweighed by the cleanliness, service, and overall atmosphere.

It’s a quiet, relaxing place rather than a party vibe, with a peaceful area for a restful vacation and good sleep. The recreation areas, pool, common spaces, and hotel room were clean, and the facilities felt updated. There’s a lot of variety in the free activities, plus room to relax. The staff are helpful, kind, and informed, and the food and drinks are great. Free breakfast comes with strong coffee, and they offered almond milk, which I don’t see everywhere and is convenient for someone dairy-free like me. Grocery stores, shopping, the marina, bars, restaurants, and the beach are all within a 5-10 minute walk or a short drive. We love it here and would stay again next time. These guys deserve 5 stars!
