Booked through Take3 vacations, and I assume they put you in a less desirable hotel to make their pitch hotel look better. Still, the place served its purpose. It was clean, the A/C worked, food and drinks were well priced, and downtown wasn’t too far away. The rooms are dated, and there were no face cloths, which I’ve never run into at a hotel before. I would have preferred somewhere with activities.

Good value, close to town, and within walking distance of the wharf and beach. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the atmosphere was friendly and clean. Rooms are basic but have air conditioning. There’s a small pool that’s refreshing, and the restaurant serves breakfast through 10 p.m.

The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, with a TV, fridge, microwave, dresser, Wi-Fi, closet, iron and board, hair dryer, makeup mirror, full-length mirror, large tub, shower with adjustable pressure, and a stove, sink, and dishes. The staff were helpful, attentive, and informative, and they speak English and Spanish. Food was delicious, and the pool, Jacuzzi, and gym were comfortable, clean, and sanitized often. The grounds are gated and watched by a guard.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s far from everything, and I felt like they saw guests as money rather than tourists. The owner or manager acted as if he was helping me, but seemed to fake a phone conversation about the shuttle that was included with my stay. At the airport I called the front desk for help, and the woman kept hanging up on me. Breakfast was uncomfortable too. The mostly male servers made sarcastic comments about being single and cute and having nothing to offer, even though I hadn’t asked them anything. I only wanted something to eat, but they stared at me the whole time.
