That garden courtyard is wonderful, and the staff were very nice. I also really appreciated how clean, tidy and well stocked the kitchen was. As a backpacker, being able to cook in a kitchen like that is such a pleasure. The place is close to the centre and very clean. There are only two bathrooms, which might feel like too few in high season. I visited in the low season, so it didn't bother us. The dorms are small too, but that wasn't an issue for us off-season.

It was quiet, clean, cosy and a beautiful place, but I thought the hostel was overpriced for what you get. The town as a whole seems overpriced too 🤨. There are only two toilets for all the guests, and even though the hostel wasn't full while we were there, the waits were really inconvenient. The rooms are pretty rough: double bunk beds and three fans per room. My boyfriend slept on the bottom and had a great night, but I was in the middle with no fan and was boiling hot. The bed was uncomfortable as well. There are no curtains on the windows, and without room lockers everyone leaves their stuff on the floor, which gets messy. There are small lockers at reception. The outlets are also awkward if you're in a middle or top bunk, since I couldn't charge my phone and keep it close.

The garden is so relaxing, with a little pool, and they sell delicious local honey for really cheap. The hostel is right in the city centre, and it's new, with clean, new kitchen equipment. The staff are really, really lovely and there to help at any hour, day or night. The only thing that could be improved is the heat in the dorm room.

Such a pretty, peaceful hostel, with a well equipped kitchen and really friendly staff. I got off the night bus and they let me check in and gave me a bed at 7am. I appreciated that so much, thank you!
