Residencial Edzna

There are plenty of fans, but no air conditioning. The room is very basic, though it does the job, and the beds are comfortable enough. It's quiet, but this isn't really a social backpacker hostel. The location is great, although you can only get in by stairs. Please provide guests with free drinking water. It costs hostels so little and makes the stay much better.

The hostel is right in the heart of the center, with a nice terrace, clean rooms, and friendly staff. My bed was comfortable, the Wi-Fi was strong, and they provided a towel, shampoo, and soap. There were plenty of table fans in the room, too. The downsides: no drinking water, no kitchen or fridge for preparing or storing food, and the shower water came out so slowly that it took forever to wash.

The hostel is pleasant and well located, and the staff were helpful when we needed to switch rooms. The private rooms are very small, though, and we found bed bugs in rooms 3 and 6 on 28/Nov/23, so be aware.

The terrace was my favorite part, with a lovely view. You're near a park and only a few blocks from the main square. Noise in the rooms was the downside: from mine I could hear another room's TV, someone talking in the hallway, and footsteps on a different floor.
