I enjoyed the cozy patio with its hammocks, and there’s a church nearby where you can hear prayers and the congregation singing during services. We found that interesting. The neighborhood feels safe and has many fish restaurants, with prices much lower than in the Hotel Zone. It’s a good fit for people wanting to see everyday Mexico, away from the Hotel Zone’s fuss, with friendly locals who are always ready to help.

The owner was the best part of my three-week stay. She helped me a lot through some difficult moments and shared plenty of tips about what to see and where to eat. The house is very large and has everything you need, and the WiFi is excellent. If you want to experience Mexican life, this is a perfect spot. Thanks, Landa, hugs 🥰

We'd arranged with the owner to check in at 1 a.m., but when we arrived, our room was occupied. The only alternative offered was spending the night at a worker’s house, so we had to share a room with five people and two beds. We had booked through the app, but the same worker tried to check us and the children out a day early. When we showed him the reservation on his phone, he said he didn't care about it and would go by what the owner had told him on WhatsApp. The bathroom water was terribly cold, and the shower head was rusty, so we couldn't take a proper shower. The church next door also held daily services that were extremely loud.
