I regret booking this Cancun hotel and wouldn't recommend it. The Expedia photos gave a misleading impression of what we got. Our room had no fridge, the shower was poor, and the noise made it hard to rest. My rating would be zero.

We spent two weeks here at a price that let us enjoy a lot of things in the area. We also had more fun staying in the city than we would have in the hotel zone. The place is clean and safe, and adequate if you just need somewhere to sleep and leave your luggage. It isn't luxurious, and I'm honestly surprised it's under the Marriott brand. But for what we paid, it worked fine.

In Room 402, the AC didn't work. It just made a lot of noise all day. Check whether it's been fixed before taking that room.

It's a no-frills place, and the rooms are tiny. The showers were hot and breakfast was nice. The front desk people weren't very friendly, but the stay was fine. It's not luxurious, though I'd come back if I visit Cancun again.

There’s a huge mall right across the street, which was the best part. The room was basic but clean, and it was okay for two nights. We didn't get any washcloths, just one towel that didn't look clean. The room phone was out of order.
