The pool area was nice, and the bar staff gave good service. The small pool-bar menu is cooked in the restaurant kitchen, though you eat out on the pool deck, which was a little chilly this time of year. The hamburgers were very good. The hotel feels a bit rustic, and the pool was the only memorable feature for me. It’s a long way from any really good restaurants, and the grocery store is a 20-minute walk. They advertise a gift shop, but although we found where it was, it was never open. The website promises a lot, but the hotel doesn’t deliver on everything. RCI guests don’t get the inclusive breakfast option. The restaurant is listed as open from 7am to 10pm, but in reality it only serves a buffet breakfast from 7am to 10am. This wouldn’t be our first choice if we returned.

The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, with an outstanding variety of delicious options. We had a great stay at Adhara Hacienda Cancun in downtown Cancun, and the hotel is well maintained and good value for money. After a long day out, the spacious, clean, comfortable room was a relaxing place to come back to. The pool area was also pleasant and well kept. A great option for a comfortable, convenient stay downtown. Highly recommended!

The included breakfast really impressed us with its variety, freshness, and quality. We also appreciated the 1:00 checkout, since we were exhausted after our excursion and our next stay on Isla Mujeres didn’t start check-in until 3:00. Having a slow morning was nice. We chose downtown Cancun instead of the hotel zone for our first two nights in Mexico, and we were nervous because we speak very little Spanish. Most of the staff spoke some English, and a couple tried to help us with our Spanish, which we appreciated. Xcaret picks up here, so it works well for excursions. There’s a grocery store within walking distance with an ATM, where we got snacks and pesos. There are lots of food options nearby, as well as Mercado 23. It’s best to know some Spanish in this area. We wished we knew more. The property was clean, open, airy, and well kept. The pool area was nice, with lots of lounge chairs, but the water was cold, so we didn’t swim. I’d give the service four stars. Most staff were great, but the pool bartender didn’t seem very friendly. After a long day of travel and transfers, we were exhausted when we arrived, and the excursion salesperson immediately bombarded us with tour offers. They were friendly, but we’d already booked ours and didn’t need the extra pitch.

I ended up here after the company bait-and-switched me from its other Cancun hotel. The rooms smelled like sufler, the pillows were like bricks, and the breakfast had lots of options, but everything was mediocre. It’s in a bad location, surrounded by busy roads and not walkable to anything. The hotel is designed like a huge cavern, so sounds echo down the hallway. Our room faced a speed hump on a ramp onto a busy road. We had to play white noise just to get a couple of hours of sleep. Don’t stay here.

My flight was canceled, so I stayed here for one night. The room was very large and clean, with comfortable beds, a good bathroom, and a nice balcony overlooking the lovely courtyard and pool. Breakfast was good too. The location worked well, close to the airport and everything downtown.
