La Maison Bleue

We booked a night through booking because the place was close to the airport and we were arriving late. We agreed someone would be there between 23:00 and 00:00. When we got there around 23:45, everything was closed. I called the phone number on booking four times and got no answer. There wasn't even a doorbell. I also sent a message through the booking app. Just before midnight, someone replied asking whether anyone had opened the door. NO, otherwise I wouldn't have called! The taxi driver was still waiting because he didn't want to leave us without seeing us get inside. Go there yourself and you'll understand why. Nobody came out or called back. Shortly after midnight we left for somewhere else. When I contacted booking and the location afterward, there was no refund because we were supposed to call booking before leaving for another hotel. The refund isn't even the main point. They left customers outside late at night, with no way to reach them, after we'd agreed on the arrangement. IF YOU CAN'T ARRANGE LATE CHECK-IN, THEN DON'T PROMISE IT!!! Thanks for the first impression of Mexican hospitality, and Booking for the poor customer oriented service.

Don't stay here. This isn't a hotel or an Airbnb, it's a house where the owner lives in one of the rooms. Everything is restricted, and the bathroom is shared. There's no privacy, with cameras everywhere, and she's always checking what you're doing. She doesn't want any noise, not even a squeaky door. There isn't a TV in the bedroom, and she doesn't want you making a mess. Since the kitchen is shared, she sets times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The old beds are uncomfortable and the pool is filthy. Seriously, don't waste your money or stay even one night. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!! Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY.

We booked through Booking, where the listing described a hotel and a family suite with a microwave, coffee maker, bathroom, and so on. What we found was a house: one bedroom with two double beds and one single bed, a bathroom shared with the other five rooms, and a shared kitchen, refrigerator, and everything else.

The facilities were excellent, and we had the house to ourselves, which worked well for what we needed. The person who helped us was super friendly. The main drawback was that it's quite far from the main avenue, and the single bed was really uncomfortable. Everything else was great.
