Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancún - Adults Only

The beach was nice, and we booked a cabana each day. Reserve one if you want shade and a lounge chair, especially on weekends, when the spots fill up fast. Cabana staff were nearby and remembered to check on us. Being adults-only was a nice perk, and the staff, food, and restaurant service were excellent. Housekeeping could be more reliable. One day the hairdryer didn't work; another day, after they left, we had no towels, bathmat, or bottled water. A call got it sorted quickly. The rooms and bathrooms were also quite dark, with very little lighting. Still, we had a great stay.

We arrived at 8 AM and were given our room straight away at no extra charge, which made check-in great. The beautiful rooms, delicious food, and especially the kind service made our stay. Chef Germain and his team put out some of the best food we've had. Edouard took great care of us by the pool, and Usiel at the pool bar was welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. Chef William at the MB Restaurant was wonderful too. There are so many other people I could name. We're very happy we stayed at Live Aqua Cancun.

The evenings here are very quiet, which suits a relaxing getaway but doesn't offer much if you're after nightlife. We were also disappointed that the jacuzzi was closed at 6:00 PM when we asked about it being cold. Finding a pool or beach chair was frustrating too, since belongings often sat on empty chairs reserving them. Paying for a cabana didn't feel like an ideal solution. Still, we had a wonderful stay at Live Aqua Cancun. It's beautiful, impeccably clean, and has a calm, upscale feel. Staff were consistently friendly and attentive, the all-inclusive food was better than we expected, and the peaceful, luxurious spa was the trip's highlight. A great quality resort if you're looking to relax and don't mind the chair hunt or quiet nights.

The beach in front of the resort is beautiful and well kept, and we'll definitely return. This was our second stay at Live Aqua, and we enjoyed it again. The food was always amazing and the staff were great. We ate breakfast at Azure every day, where the food tasted fresh and there were plenty of lighter options. Helvert and Alma made us feel so warmly welcome each time. Poolside, Alejandra was friendly and quick to help whenever we wanted food or drinks.
