One Cancun Centro

The staff were really friendly and professional, and our room was very clean. The building itself, though, feels unbelievably flimsy. It’s all like cardboard: you can hear doors as if there were no doors or windows, and the walls shake when someone else shuts a door.

Way too noisy, and everything feels so cheap. I don’t think it was worth what I paid.

We had a great time and thought the room prices were fair. Breakfast was amazing, with something different each day, and the staff were friendly and very polite. Housekeeping was top notch, and the beds were comfortable, though the rooms are a little small. Ask for a room on a higher floor for the views. They don’t allow you to bring in a case of beer or other alcohol, which is pretty nice, but if you plan to have a drink at the hotel, make sure it’s hidden in your bag. We stayed here during our second week to explore downtown and would come back.

There were lots of nice restaurants across the street and one block down. As for the stay, I think I’d have loved this room at 20. Nearer to 50, it worked, but it felt more like a hostel room than a hotel, and it was very small. The lights only work while the key is in its slot, so if one person takes it when they leave, the other is left in the dark. Get two keys 😄.
