The location made getting around easy. Super aki is just around the corner, Mercado 28 is a pleasant 15-minute walk, and the ADO station and main square are also within walking distance. Nearby stops have R1 and R2 buses to the hotel zone for 12 pesos, and there are cheaper places to eat and shop around here. It’s a hotel with cozy, very clean rooms and bathrooms that look new. The shower had hot water, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Towels were included, and the bed and pillows were the best I’ve ever slept on. You can adjust the room AC any time, the TV worked well, and there’s a mini fridge. My room had no window, but that didn’t bother me. Reception and the room cleaners were friendly and helpful. There’s a kitchen for simple meals or using the microwave, though it isn’t very well equipped. The little garden at the entrance is colorful and quiet, with a big table, benches, and places to sit. The main gate and the door have codes for evening entry. It felt safe, and was just right for me.

Julio was an angel and helped us so much. The place feels safe, the area is nice, and the location is good. Everything was super clean and newly remodeled, with a cute look throughout. Highly recommended!

The patio was a highlight, and the place felt really cozy. You can walk to pretty much everything from here, and there’s a kitchenette if you want to make your own meals. I had a great time staying here.

Villa Leo worked out well for the price. My first night was at another hotel for 650$MX, and the rooms there weren't as nice. Here it was about 550$MX a night, which felt like enough savings to cover a meal out each day. The room was clean and well equipped, with AC, a wall-mounted TV, and a clean en suite toilet and shower. There were towels and a shower dispenser with some kind of shampoo. There wasn't any hand soap at the sink, but I bring my own. I was fine with the room having no windows. The staff were good to deal with, and I asked them not to clean my room each day because I think it's a waste of their time and I prefer to avoid the towel and soap changes some hotels do. Noise was the real drawback. On the first night, I heard water rushing now and then. It turned out the toilet cistern was leaking, and adjusting the flapper stopped it from running into the bowl. People talking loudly elsewhere also echoed down the cement hallways into my room. The next night, someone spoke loudly on the phone for hours, as if they were in my room. The sound seemed to travel through the AC unit. On my last night, the doorbell rang. I ignored the first time, but around 12:30 am I got up when it rang again and nobody answered. I let in two people from the UK, who found their room details by looking around the reception desk after I told them I wasn't sure where they were staying. They'd been traveling for 24 hours and were finally able to get to bed. Around 5:30am another ring woke me. A Mexican family of four was waiting outside, so I let them in and showed them where the office phone numbers were. They sat in the courtyard for three hours until someone arrived. The hotel should send guests the gate and door instructions, room numbers, and other check-in details in advance. It would spare them a stressful wait and keep other guests from being disturbed. I recommend the place to travelers.

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the staff are friendly while giving you plenty of privacy. There’s a kitchen where you can prepare food and eat, and being right beside the markets makes for a fun outing.
