The Wi-Fi kept dropping at least once an hour, and each time I had to sign in again with a 10-digit code. The shower was ice cold with no fix, and despite the staff trying hard, there was no remote, so the TV was unusable. I paid $126 for a windowless room and one of the loudest nights I've had in hundreds of nights in Mexico. The restaurant charged 85 pesos for beer and only mentioned that it was cash-only afterward. I've enjoyed plenty of places with flaws like these when they cost $40-50 a night. Hotel Misión Santa María Inn San Quintín, which may or may not have been part of the same chain, felt like paradise and cost two-thirds as much. This place felt like a tourist trap that took me for a ride. I won't be back.

The hotel website doesn't really show what this place is like. We found a well-kept mission-style hotel in a remote part of North Baja, with a pleasant restaurant and a small convenience and gift store. They also have two Tesla destination chargers, which are hard to find in Baja. I'd definitely stay here again, and the photos can speak for themselves.

We chose rooms where we could park right outside and stay out of sight from the highway. They wouldn't let us bring our motorcycles into the courtyard, and asked us to leave them on the front step, in view of the check-in desk and a security camera. The rooms were clean, and the hotel itself was nice, with a great restaurant. The garlic pulpo (octopus) was awesome.

The bikepacking setup felt secure, and the place was clean. My room was dim, the heat and blinds were broken, and there wasn't enough hot water. The margaritas were good at 220p.

A nice stop in the middle of Baja, with a good restaurant and even a pool. The Wi-Fi isn't great, so Starlink is your best friend in Baja.
