Hotel JH Boutique

We had two problems: there was no hot water, so we had to shower cold, and our pet was attacked by dogs in the parking lot. The hotel is on the roadside, and passing cars can sometimes be heard. It’s on the outskirts of Chignahuapan, with ample parking, carpeted hallways that have automatic lighting, and photos of local landmarks. Our room was clean and had a small terrace and almost all the amenities.

The windows let in a lot of cold air, and when I asked at the counter, there weren’t any extra blankets. There’s a small pool table for passing time. It’s a nice place, 10 minutes from the center and 20 minutes from the hot springs.

A roadside hotel that’s good for a rest before you continue your trip. The rooms are very comfortable, with warm blankets, hot water, and a TV. Highly recommended.

It’s a nice place, not ugly, and the service is good. The mattresses are a little uncomfortable, though, and the bathroom is so small that shower water runs into the room.
