You can walk to a lot of the sights from here, and the city center is around 10 minutes away on foot or about 5 minutes by car. There’s no parking at the place, though a reasonably priced lot is just a few meters away. It gets cold in Chignahuapan, but they leave plenty of blankets and microwaveable rice bags for the beds. The facilities were clean and practical, and the hosts were friendly and respectful. A good fit for a family or friends’ trip.
