No real complaints, honestly. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, and the laundry machine works. You need to buy tokens at the front desk. The gym is small but clean, and breakfast is good. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, but the area itself is pretty quiet. Just two little things that don’t change my score: the WiFi can be unstable sometimes, and the window was kind of dirty.

They’re good at taking your money. I checked out early, but was charged the full amount, about $1,000 too much. The hotel said it issued a refund 15 days ago and sent me a copy of the transaction, but the money never arrived. When I called 15 days later, they brushed me off and told me to contact my credit card company. And I’m a Spire member. You’ve been warned.

Out of maybe 40 stays here, nearly all have been great. I’ve only had one bad room, where the heat and AC couldn’t be controlled and the temperature was uncomfortable. The happy hour meals aren’t good, and I wonder if they do that so people won’t eat. That room was right next to the elevator, too. I only wish there were somewhere to sit in the sun on weekends.

The indoor pool is what gives this hotel an edge over the nearby ones, since the weather outside doesn’t matter. The other amenities are more or less the same, including free breakfast and drinks and lunch from 6-8pm for two hours. The price is comparable.
