Hotel Suites del Mar

Ok.

It's close to the beach, with an excellent location and very comfortable, pleasant rooms. The staff are very friendly. My room had a minibar, and I'd highly recommend the place.

The staff are friendly, and the hotel is in a good location, but there are plenty of things to fix. Water from the taps, shower, and cups comes out brown or dirty; the toilets clog, and shower pressure is low. Hot water takes a long time to arrive. The parking setup is inconvenient too. The doorman should have the gate remote so guests don't need to ask to be let in. The rate is affordable, but the hotel needs to improve a lot, especially the rooms and drainage.

There was no hot water for three days, and when the water pump broke, the toilet couldn't be flushed. There were cockroaches, and the mattresses and mattress protectors were disgusting. The receptionists were rude. When I reported problems, they said they'd look into them but never fixed anything. It's so expensive, like paying for a four-star hotel, but it feels like a cheap place just to pass through. Terrible!
