It’s cheap, but there’s a bad smell and the doors aren’t very good. The sheets felt sticky, and I dreaded getting into bed. People made loud thumping noises for much of the day, and there aren’t any hair dryers. The shower curtain doesn’t reach all the way down, so the bathroom floor gets wet when you shower.

Shopping nearby was easy thanks to the hotel’s location. The bed was really comfortable and I slept well. The shower was just okay, neither great nor bad. I had a pleasant stay.

The room for two had just one bedside table, no bedside light, and only harsh ceiling lighting. There weren’t any cups, though the cleaning ladies gave me two paper ones, and there was no water. For a one night stay the price was decent, but I’d have picked somewhere else. You can even buy a one-person set of dishes for over 300 pesos. Seriously, for one night? For an extended stay, they need to do more. The rooms should have a coffee maker and cups, plus drinking glasses. Add two layers of curtains, one to block light and one for privacy, and a small rug by the bed to catch dirt. A bedside lamp with USB would help too, and a little bench in the entry or check-in area would give people somewhere to sit. And please turn on the heat and burn off the dust sometimes. The smell nearly drove me out of the room. In Cordoba, try The Moose inn (grin). It had a great bed, good service, two bedside tables, lamps, and a reading light.

The check-in attendant was friendly and helpful, even though there’s barely a lobby, just a counter inside the main entrance and rooms throughout the building. It felt more like a prison than a welcoming place. The bed was fine and the room was clean, but the AC and fan were too noisy to use. They advertise kitchenettes, but ours had only a fridge and stove, with no cups, plates, utensils, glasses, or coffee maker.
