Hotel Santa Fe

The receptionist was friendly and spoke great English. There's free breakfast, the Wi-Fi is great, and the rooms are decent. The pedestrian bridge at the border is within walking distance.

The hotel is only a block away after crossing the international bridge from El Paso to Juarez on Stanton Street. From there, it's also an easy walk to central Juarez marcado and the Juan Gabriel museum on la Calle de 16. Tomorrow, 9/16/25, the big red X in Juárez is also within walking distance, where they hold their independiente celebration.

The rooms were clean, the security attendant was nice, and dinner was delicious. But breakfast was a mess. It was included when we paid for the room, yet after we ordered two coffees and our food, we waited 30 minutes for coffee and 45 minutes for breakfast. I feel hotel guests should get priority over people coming in from outside, since we'd already paid. One waitress trying to handle at least 40 diners was too much. I won't consider coming back. The shower head in our room was also very close to the wall.

We stayed two nights and had a clean, safe building with perfect little rooms. We got a room with a view on the second night, but trying to explain the request to the guy working that night was difficult enough to take away from the romantic view. He wouldn't even lend me a pen, saying he only had one, while I was trying to get him to print a document he'd agreed to print. Maybe he was having a bad day, but his service was nowhere near as accommodating as the woman who worked the night before. She was amazing, patient, understanding, and willing to help with customer service requests.
