The guarded garage was a real plus, and the pool looked inviting, even if it was small. The hotel itself was nice enough, and I’d bring my family back, but there were a few drawbacks. The queen beds felt more like full size and were extremely firm. Breakfast was bland, and the sweet bread was old and hard. No one told us we needed to put one of our room keys in a box to turn on the electricity, so I had to go down the stairs and back up to figure it out. Still, it was a good hotel overall.

The “city view” room was mostly a view of noisy traffic right outside the window, which kept going all night. We expected a better room and more responsiveness after reading the positive reviews. Before we arrived, we called to request some adjustments, but they put us on mute and never answered. The front lobby attendant, receptionist, and other employees were friendly enough when we checked in. They call themselves a 4 star hotel, but to me it felt more like a 2 star place. A very disappointing stay.

The building had a casual feel that I actually liked, the price was reasonable, and most employees were kind, except management. But the hotel rents out its restaurant and conference rooms for parties, so expect loud music on weekends until around 1 am. The walls are paper thin and you can hear almost everything next door. The hotel is getting old, and the AC was broken. Booking through an online site also meant no free breakfast, even though calling the hotel directly gets it for about the same price. I wish I’d known. Long story short, they lie, and the customer doesn’t come first. It seems suited to a one night stay after a party there, and not much else.

The room smelled bad, and so did the bed sheets. The guy at the front desk was okay, but he wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. We won’t be coming back. I’d recommend La Quinta instead. We had a great experience there. It costs a little more, but it’s worth it.
