Hostal Pata De Perro

The Huaxteca tours were enjoyable, and they’re run and owned by the same people. This is certainly a hostel, but nice enough. The VIP rooms have air conditioning, which makes them more bearable. I would’ve struggled with the heat otherwise.

It’s a basic hostel in a central location, and the price is as good as you’ll find. There’s a shared kitchen with a fridge for storing food. The AC isn’t great, but should be enough if you’re just sleeping over. There’s a convenience store and pharmacy on the same block.

A good spot if you just need somewhere to sleep. The beds are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are clean too, though that also depends on the people staying there.

I stayed for three nights and had a really great time. Everything was perfect, and the staff were great with recommendations for the huasteca Potosína. The place was very clean.
