The room was clean, and the place is beautiful, looking out over the city. But the walls are thin enough that you hear the TV in other rooms and kids playing in the courtyard late at night. Weekends seem busy and noisy, so I'd consider staying on a weekday.

The grounds make a lovely wedding setting, and when we visited there were beautiful seats set up in a salon open along one side. We happened upon a wonderful Aztec wedding ceremony that afternoon. The reserve itself is beautiful and mostly undisturbed. I haven't tried the restaurant, though it seems to close pretty early.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It's a beautiful place to relax, and the pool area is lovely. The massage was the cherry on top. Portales de suchitlan is only a five-minute drive away, and we had a delicious breakfast there in the morning.

I liked the room and the surroundings, and the place had a lot of potential. But some guests decided 3am was a good time to play music. I called the registered hotel number twice to ask staff to handle it, and no one answered. After that, I won't be coming back, which is a shame.

They charge you twice and never answer! The service was very bad. I've tried several times to contact the administration about refunding a payment to my credit card. I got very few replies, and after almost two months nothing has happened. I definitely won't return.
