Hotel Casa Delina

What stood out most was how kind the staff were. They took such good care of me and my dog. The property itself is spotless and well looked after, with lovely gardens. It's centrally located and easy to explore on foot, though all the one-way streets made it a little hard for me to find at first. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Comitán. Try the restaurant on the property too.

The courtyard is lovely, and the hotel was remarkably quiet even though it's just off the square. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The staff were really kind and gave us helpful advice about getting around and finding local tours. Casa Delina is good value, and I'd choose it first next time we're in Comitan. Off-street parking is a nice extra if you've rented a car.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. The location is great, and the room was nice by European standards. No bathtub, but the hot water was very warm and came through with strong pressure. Still, there wasn't much extra to make the place feel special, and breakfast wasn't included in my case. My room was poorly ventilated, with no windows except for a tiny one in the bathroom. I felt a bit suffocated early in the morning and had to open the main door, which didn't feel very safe. For a four-star place, I'd expect a little more.

It's a beautiful place with lots of flowers, and dogs are welcome. They even have a dog named bruno. The hotel was clean and nice, and it's only a few blocks from the park. There wasn't air conditioning or even a fan.
