We had some maintenance issues during our five days, but they were dealt with quickly. The staff were pleasant and friendly despite the language barrier, especially Pablo. I also share the concerns others mentioned about the stairs. The pool was sometimes dirty, though they cleaned it quickly. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so I can’t say anything about the food. WiFi only worked in the dining area. The locked gates made us feel secure, but we had no key and there was no guard at night to open them. In an earthquake, fire, or medical emergency, what would we do? The maze-like layout really needs an evacuation plan.

The service was hard to fault. The young woman who answered our call was cheerful, easy to talk to, and especially attentive. The rooms are nice, though not luxurious, and come with internet, hot water, cable TV, snacks, and laundry service. Snacks and laundry cost extra, but the prices are reasonable. The location works for me, though it’s a bit far from both the center and the beach, so I’d give that part four stars. For the price, it’s definitely worth staying.

This place is awful. The rooms in both the inn and guest room were filthy and full of cockroaches. Everything was dirty, including the mattresses, which smelled terrible. The owner was incredibly rude and arrogant. I don’t recommend it ❌❌❌
