Hotel Quiloma Ranch

The room was a good deal, with a comfortable bed, and the staff were nice. I also really liked having the pool and garden to unwind in. Being out in the jungle on the way to the ruins made this a much more interesting option than staying in Palenque town. The WiFi was fine during the quieter part of the day, but struggled when more people were around. Keep that in mind if you're hoping to arrange onward travel online. We had a great time here and really enjoyed our stay.

I liked being surrounded by the natural jungle sounds, and the archaeological site at Palenque is very close. The room was comfortable, and when we had a couple of small restroom issues, the staff sorted them out.

The people working there were really friendly, and our room was very clean when we got in. The natural setting was a real highlight: there's a tree where you can hear some unusual birds singing, though I don't know what they're called. A place next door also serves very good food. For the price, I thought it was good.

The location is a strong point, and I hope they can improve the place enough to make it a top choice. As it is, the rooms need better upkeep and cleaning, and the pool needs a proper deep clean.
