Casa Chula Oaxaca

We planned to stay two nights at Casa Chula, but ended up staying four because we liked it so much. The grounds are lovely and green, with plenty of chairs, hammocks, and beach beds, and the sunsets are amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and the peaceful atmosphere. The women who welcomed guests and cleaned the rooms, and the men who worked in the garden, were all super friendly. The only thing that could’ve been better was the water pressure in our shower. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Muchas gracias!

We stayed four nights and could happily have spent weeks at Casa Chula. The grounds and rooms are beautiful and kept immaculately. It was our first time using a shared kitchen, and we enjoyed meeting the other guests there. There was plenty of designated food storage, and everything we needed. The staff were so lovely, and Arturo had great suggestions and recommendations. The beach restaurant was great, with lots of options. It’s a quiet, peaceful place to enjoy the surroundings and unwind. We hope to come back 🌴🥥

After too many days in busy Puerto Escondido, we loved having five calm nights at Casa Chula with our two children. They were the only kids there. The pool and being so close to the beach were both a treat. We didn’t enjoy the restaurant, but we started loving cooking in the shared kitchen. We met lots of nice people and had some great conversations. It felt a bit like a comfortable hostel for adults. When we were younger, we loved the chance to connect and make friends in hostels, and this brought that back. Watching surfers or whales from the beach was so relaxing. There’s also a very small shop two minutes from the hotel for basic things. Thanks to Casa Chula for a great experience. I’d highly recommend this beautiful beach hotel.

We loved every bit of our stay. It’s about 20 minutes from Puerto, so it’s worth buying groceries ahead of time. The hotel has a fully equipped communal kitchen. The rooms are simple but nice, the view is incomparable, and the staff were excellent. The grounds were very clean. Pure relaxation and privacy!
