Casita Jardin de Mariposas El Tuito

El Tuito doesn’t have many places to stay, so finding somewhere decent from the photos already felt like a win. Then we arrived and were completely blown away. Villa Jardin de Mariposas felt like an oasis in the middle of the desert. Byron greeted us at the gate and welcomed us onto the property. The adobe wall around it gave us a reassuring first impression, and the grounds were beautiful. He showed us the saltwater pool and jacuzzi, then our second-floor room, which opened onto a roomy deck with a comfortable-looking double recliner. Inside, the furnishings were good quality, the king bed and sheets were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. It’s a comfortable, safe place to stay in El Tuito.

We stayed in Casita #1 for three weeks, and it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. My husband and I found it so relaxing, and we’ll be back. The garden, pool, and hot tub make the property feel like paradise. Our kitchenette, bathroom, bed, sitting area, and outdoor patio were all clean and comfortable. Restaurants and grocery stores are close by, and it’s easy to walk around the quaint, friendly town. Wendy and Byron were warm, helpful hosts who really tried to make our stay enjoyable.

I’m already looking forward to staying here again when I visit PV. The casita in your mountain villa had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the beautifully landscaped grounds, with their diverse fauna, and the clean pool and hot tub. Town centre is just a few minutes’ walk for restaurants and groceries. If you don’t drive and want to explore, you can take the bus to and from PV or the botanical gardens.
