Campera Hotel Burbuja VDG

We went in the off season and almost had the place to ourselves. Glamping at camera, right in the middle of Valle, was a unique experience. The bubbles are inside a gold and croquet country club, where we could play and relax. The wines are great, though there aren’t many food choices. We had a comfortable deluxe room with a jacuzzi, and the chilly nights made it perfect. The water got hot enough to stay in for hours while drinking and watching the stars. The bubble stayed at a good temperature for sleeping, and I love the cold, but there’s also AC/Heater to adjust it. The staff were great and kind. A great experience, highly recommend.

In all my travels around the world, I’ve never before had management discriminate against us and deny us access to our rooms unless we got rid of our handicapped friend and her service dog. They also kept our booking money, so I had to dispute it with a third party. Thank God we booked a better hotel and were treated well there.

The window in the sphere was covered in mold, and its dirty ceiling made it impossible to take pictures of the stars at night. I was also met with a musty smell as soon as I arrived. The front desk said the AC would take care of it, but the odor stayed the whole night. I found a large stain on the blanket when I was getting ready for bed, so I put it on the floor to avoid touching it. There was no hot water when I tried to shower later. The front desk had closed at 8:00 PM, and after calling several numbers for nearly an hour, I finally reached someone who sent a technician. I checked in June 27, 2025 for one night in the small sphere. Between the condition of the place and the lack of evening help, it didn't seem properly maintained or managed. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We had a nice night together, and the food was great. The people there were very nice, and the jacuzzi bubble was clean and private. The room had AC, the shower had hot water, and the place was clean. The romantic package, though, wasn't worth the more than $100 dlls my partner paid. We got a small plate of bread and fruit and fake rose petals scattered around the room. For that price, we think they could at least have used real petals. It was a little expensive, but I'd still recommend it for a night with your partner :)
