Hotel Eiffel

Booking a room with a Jacuzzi was made really difficult. You have to go to a Mexican bank in person to deposit the reservation payment, and you can’t pay by credit card.

I was surprised by how elegant and clean the rooms were for a reasonable price. They’re also very comfortable, and not too expensive.

After a flight delay made us miss our cruise in Long Beach, we had to change our vacation plans. Two bus rides later, we arrived tired and worn out, but the friendly staff made us feel at home. The room was clean and cozy, with a huge TV, and the neighborhood felt safe and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff spoke English, and the next day someone called a taxi for us to the port so we could meet the boat. We’ll definitely return another time.

The location is great, but the room quality and amenities weren’t acceptable. The rooms are worn down, and the towels and sheets looked old, stained, and nasty. The shower head didn’t work properly because of hard water residue. We got only two bath towels, with no hand towels or washcloths. There was also too much noise in the middle of the night.
