For $260/night, I expected more care or value. The rooms are spacious and the beds were clean, aside from the giant black spider we found in our sheets when we woke up. We were also woken at 8 am on Saturday by the grounds keeper's puppy barking and running around. Not what I wanted on a relaxing vacation. The staff weren't friendly, though they did their jobs. No one gave us check-in information except to call, and the gated community is hard to access from the road without instructions. The water smelled like sulfur, maybe it's well water? There was no separation or vent for the bath, so steam filled the room, and the toilet had the same issue. The finishes look upscale but the workmanship was shotty: grout wasn't smoothed, doors don't seal properly, and the faucet wasn't screwed on, so it moved whenever you turned on the water. Dew on the skylight meant we couldn't see the stars. None of these details materially affected the stay, but together they gave the impression of a lipstick-on-a-pig design-build at luxury pricing. It cost about the same as a Hilton, without the customer service or amenities.

Raphael’s and Miguel were the best part of my trip, and the whole property is beautiful and thoughtfully put together. The service was amazing. I loved the hot tub and how peaceful it was. A few things to plan for: the mini splits don't warm the place much, and with concrete floors and doors that aren't installed properly, it stays cold. Give them an ETA or call when you arrive, since you need access through a gate. There are no plugs by the beds, so bring an extension cord if you want your phone nearby. They have mini fridges and a few snacks. The automated blinds don't block the cafe lights, which stay on overnight, so you'll want an eye mask. Bring ear plugs too, since you can hear everything if people are using the fire pit.

It's easy to relax here. The lodging was incredible, impeccably clean, and every detail seemed taken care of. The staff were friendly and very attentive. You'll love watching the stars while you sleep.

Definitely NOT worth it. The rooms are extremely small and there's nowhere to put luggage or toiletries. You can hear everything, including staff talking through the night until 4am, and music playing at 7am. If you want a quiet, restful stay, this is not the place. The bathroom sink also plugs up.

There are about 4 units on the property, so it feels private and exclusive, with great views and thoughtful decor, including cool art murals. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They met us at the main gate, gave us a quick overview of the property and our unit, and encouraged us to relax and enjoy ourselves. It's a beautiful, quaint, unique place in a great spot for exploring Guadalupe Valley. It would be perfect for a family reunion or friends' getaway if you could rent all the units. I was so delighted and will definitely be back. Thank you!
