Villas Rincon del Paraiso

We booked nearly the whole complex for a group of international tourists, and the stay was deeply disappointing. When we arrived in the rain, water was leaking into half the rooms, including the showers, and some toilets were moldy. A few rooms had no toilet paper, the internet barely worked, and the lights went out several times. There were no heaters, so nights were cold, and no English-speaking staff. We asked for help with the leaks and missing paper during check-in. We were told, “Pay first, then we will fix it.” My group waited almost an hour for the paper. That response felt humiliating and had nothing to do with the hospitality we work in. The complex seems poorly maintained, and as organizer I ended up refunding my group to make up for the experience. I’m sorry to say I’d tell people to avoid this place if they can’t put up with hours of problems. At the very least, it needs a major renovation.

The cabins are cozy and nice to stay in. We came off season and had them all to ourselves, which was great. It’s in a gated community that feels safe and pleasant.

A great spot with comfy beds and a nice fire pit area. The shower pressure was very low, there’s no A/C, and parking is limited.

Clean and nice, with friendly staff. There’s no air conditioning, which could be an issue when it gets hot.
