The quiet is a big part of the appeal here. I could slow down, walk the cobbled streets, or spend a calm afternoon looking toward the distant mountains. At night, the stars fill the sky, and the outdoor areas are nice for relaxing. There’s also a pleasant temazcal, and Mr. Miguel makes sure things go smoothly. At Hotel Catorce Capital in Estación Catorce, San Luis Potosí, the welcoming feel stood out against the desert around it. My room had tasteful decor with artisanal details, a comfortable bed, soft textiles, and a rustic but elegant look that felt homey. It was a peaceful place to step away from everyday life and enjoy a restful stay.

From Estación Catorce, you can head to Real de Catorce by Willys Jeep and explore the area. The place itself has excellent facilities and the service was exceptional. A really memorable experience, and one I’d highly recommend.

There’s no restaurant, so bring food along. You can use the hotel’s grills and the spacious garden for a barbecue. The gentleman who looks after guests was attentive and friendly. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot for unwinding and taking a break from everyday life with someone you like.
