City Express Plus by Marriott GDL Providencia

The shower pressure was awful, and housekeeping left the same sheets on the bed. There was also a damaged couch in the room and the Wi-Fi barely worked. Parking is underground, with no elevator access, which made things inconvenient. I expected better upkeep, cleanliness, and accessibility. I don't think I'll stay here again.

Really comfortable place, and the service was top-notch. Getting access to the terraza from your room gives you a fantastic view. I was visiting friends, and this is the place for me. Highly recommend it.

We could hear every conversation and noise from the room next door, since the rooms aren't soundproof. The next morning, at 9:30 AM, someone opened our door without knocking. The safety latch stopped them, but it was startling and left us uncomfortable. We'd already waited over two hours for our room after arriving tired and wanting to settle in. I'm a Marriott member and have stayed at lots of Marriott properties, but this was easily my worst experience at one. This hotel really let me down.

There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and you can walk to the tower next door, so the location works well for business. The room itself wasn't great, though. The shower was awful and wouldn't rinse the shampoo out, and our view faced a run-down apartment and construction. The photos were misleading.
