Del Marqués Hotel and Suites

The location is very good, but our room wasn't ready at check-in. Once we got the key, we found hair on the bathroom toilet and wall, and the door had neither a deadbolt nor a chain lock. The pool wasn't heated, and we couldn't use it because the cover was down. The pool area also had trash and peeling paint. Inside, the chairs were stained and uncomfortable, with no table in the seating area. There's no TV, fridge, or coffee maker, and the TVs are very small.

When I came back to Guadalajara a year after my last stay, the staff remembered me and were glad to see me. They go out of their way to help with whatever I need, and everyone is pleasant and accommodating. Housekeeping is prompt and thorough, and the hotel is clean and quite comfortable.

The staff really made this Guadalajara trip for me. They were awesome, made me feel at home, and suggested tours as well as places beyond the tours. The food was great for the hotel's prices, and my room was very nice and always clean. I was so happy with my stay here.

We couldn't even make a complaint, because the supervisor said he was his own supervisor. He was extremely rude. On the first night, the restaurant was closed, so we ordered food and asked for cutlery. He told us it wasn't his problem. Then he asked us to switch rooms, but the Wi-Fi didn't work in the new one, and he said there were no other rooms. Why move us, then? He also claimed we'd paid for one night when I'd actually paid for a week. He said we could stay until then, and after that we'd be out. I've never been treated like this anywhere.
