A comfortable, affordable stay with nice service. The street is quiet at night, but sounds from outside and from nearby rooms come through.

We'd stayed here several times over the past year, but our January 2024 visit was the last. I emailed the property and got no reply for 14 calendar days, which is bad business and not what I expect from a 4-star hotel. The rooms have no heat, something we really needed in January. The restaurant only serves breakfast, and on weekdays management reserves the window tables for business class guests, leaving everyone else by the busy kitchen. The cleaning crew left dirty, soiled rags in our room. The location has no nearby amenities, no shops or food. For a more immersive stay, spend the extra money on a real 4-star hotel.

The hotel made a good first impression, with spacious, comfortable rooms that were clean, organized, and nicely decorated. The bathroom was roomy and spotless too. I picked it for the price and its proximity to places I planned to visit in Guadalajara, and the good reviews helped me give it a try. Staff were great, and check-in and checkout were smooth. They found me a quiet room away from the noise of busy Mexico Avenue. The internet was a little slow because the signal in my room was weak. Breakfast had plenty to choose from: three kinds of fruit and juice, coffee, bread, Mexican dishes, and sweets. Great restaurants are within walking distance, but downtown is farther away, so you'll probably need a taxi or Uber. Getting to the airport is easy.

It's comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Taxis wait right beside the building, which makes it easy to get a quick ride. There's a pharmacy nearby too. I feel safe enough in the area to walk alone at night.
