Expo Satelite 2750 Hotel & Suites

The room itself was nice, with a useful little kitchenette, and we appreciated the Nespresso coffee, reliable Wi-Fi, and unlimited drinking water. Staff were friendly, and after we asked, they promptly cleaned the room again. We also had hot water by morning. Still, there were several things that made the stay uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty and there was hair in the bed; the stovetop was dirty too, and a used bar of soap had been left in the shower. We arrived to find no toilet paper or regular coffee, and initially there was no hot water. Noise was another problem: pigeons were loud overnight and early in the morning, while people shouted in the hallway and walked heavily. The elevator was extremely slow. Earlier in the week we had asked whether our two-year-old son could sleep in the second bed, but never got an answer. The property has potential, but cleanliness, noise control, and communication need significant improvement.

The room and service were great, and I’d come back. I found this place at the last minute around midnight and was surprised by how modern and nicely decorated it was. Breakfast was TO DIE FOR, with a great cook and staff. The cleaning team also seemed happy and passionate about their work. There’s an electric stove, so the room feels like a tiny apartment. The only downside for me was waiting about 30-45 minutes for hot water to come on. After a flight of more than 20 hours, hot water is something I really value.

The included breakfast is delicious, and the staff are outstanding. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel, and many rooms have a kitchenette, a balcony, or both. I expected the room with a kitchen to be a bit larger, but it was big enough. The location works well if you already know the city, though it may not be ideal for a first-time visitor.

When we got back from a day trip, our room was completely unlocked even though we’d left it locked. That was my only complaint. The cleaning staff need to be more careful.
