Hotel Plaza Baratillo

The best thing about this old style hotel is its location, and the prices are good. Employees are polite. But our window looked onto an alley wall of another building, and we could hear people walking outside or around the hotel as if they were right at our door. Dogs barked like crazy all night. I took off two stars because the towels had reddish stains both nights. They left just one roll of toilet paper each night, and it was incredibly thin. The worst issue was the water: they use solar heaters, and since it was cloudy the day before, there was no hot water for a shower on our second day. We complained, but staff couldn’t do anything. I imagine in winter you either shower cold or don’t shower at all.

The reception gave us a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and well trained. There’s free Wi-Fi, which was appreciated, and it’s easy to get to the city center. The rooms are a bit small, but fine for sleeping. For the cost, the arrangements seemed okay to me. Cleanliness could be better. You can choose this hotel depending on your budget. Thanks.

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were excellent and very helpful. There’s definitely a lot of noise, but it didn’t bother me much.

The value for money and location were top notch. The staff always greeted us with a smile and were helpful. We’ve recommended the place to lots of people.
