The beach sunsets are world class, and the water is usually a great temperature for swimming. It can get a little chilly in winter, but a wetsuit makes it easy. Nearby, there’s fantastic fishing, marinas and plenty of charter options, plus good snorkeling. The estuary is lovely for hiking or kayaking, and sailing is often good here too. Our family has loved this place for years. I came here as a kid, and now I bring my own kids. My parents bought one of the condos, and we’ve been so happy to have it for the family. Condominios Pilar feels like a home away from home. We like that Mexican, Canadian, and US families and guests stay here, and we’ve made friends we see again every year. The grounds are regularly maintained, and the staff are friendly, work hard, and wear masks. The only thing I’d love to see is the restaurant that was here before COVID-19 shut it down. I really hope it can come back once the pandemic passes.
