Suites Rubi

The room was clean, with a great view of the mountains and lake, and there was a restaurant nearby, though it only served seafood. But parties went on in the pool, rooms, and balconies all night, with loud music past midnight and no one seeming to care. We didn't sleep either of our two nights, even after reporting it on the first night. Reception was empty at night, with no one to help. I won't stay here again or recommend it.

Our two-bedroom suite was modern, very clean, and had a well-stocked kitchen. The balcony views were great, and the main bedroom's panoramic view was awesome. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in one bedroom. There was just one ice tray, which was inconvenient since I'm used to ice machines. We also had only one washcloth and two towels for the suite, so we had to ask the desk to send more. There was only one small complimentary bottle of water, too.

The building's location was perfect, just five minutes from the beach and downtown San Carlos. The suites my family and I checked into were clean and spacious, and the price was great. Staff were very helpful, especially Gerardo.

The room has great amenities, and the view is amazing. It's a new place with the basics for a vacation stay. The hot tub in the master bedroom has hot water, but takes about 30 minutes or more to fill. The rooftop jacuzzi wasn't really hot, so it didn't feel much like a jacuzzi. Internet was painfully slow, and I couldn't use YouTube or Netflix when I needed to. That was frustrating. If they fix it, this should be a great place to stay.
