We ended up extending our stay because we loved Casa Lumini Holbox so much. The rooms were comfortable, and the location worked well for us, near enough to the beaches and not too far from the town center. Luis made sure breakfast was really good, and Marco, Hector and Mari were helpful and full of information. Everyone was warm and friendly, always greeting us with a smile and ready to help. We’d happily recommend staying here.

Being a few blocks from downtown kept the hotel quiet, though it was still easy to walk there. There’s also a small restaurant area growing around the corner for when you don’t feel like heading into town. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the service was very friendly, and breakfast came with the room. A lovely way to start each day.

There are some nice restaurants and bars just around the corner, and Punta cocos is close by too. Bring mosquito repellent if you’re heading there. The hotel itself is peaceful, with thoughtfully designed, beautiful rooms. It’s a little way from downtown, but a taxi sorts that out, or you can walk in about 15 minutes. Hector and Marcos at reception were polite and kind, and breakfast was really tasty. A good choice if you want somewhere quiet to stay.

The square is a bit of a walk, but there are good restaurants nearby. The rooms were very nice, the service was pleasant, and breakfast was really good.

The staff were friendly and helped us arrange tours. They also advised us against a couple of specific tours because of the weather. The hotel has a luxurious feel, and breakfast was okay. The main drawback for us was the location: it’s quite far from the center, and the muddy roads make walking impractical, so we had to take a taxi. That cost 200 pesos per trip, and there were only one or two restaurants nearby.
