Being right in the city center made it easy to wander around and shop, and the price felt like great value for such a central spot. We felt at home at Hotel La Casa Azul y Restaurante, with cozy rooms and staff who treated us like family. The restaurant was so good that we were already thinking about dinner during lunch. We loved both our stay and our meal.

That garden is gorgeous, and the town itself is so cute. Our room was comfortable, with a big bathtub, a cozy fireplace, and a comfy bed. Breakfast was AMAZING, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Such a gem, 10 out of 10 for me! I definitely want to come back and stay at La Casa Azul again.

The place has a great vibe and is actually quite nice, which makes this such a shame. I ate there many times and the food was good, with excellent service, but a medium-length hair showed up in the enchiladas my daughter ordered. Then it happened AGAIN in my nephew's food. I won't eat there again.

The one problem for me was the first room I was given. It felt humid, possibly because the windows had been shut for a while. Since I have asthma, it might not bother most people, but the staff moved me to another room without that issue, and I was very grateful. Otherwise, this is a very good boutique hotel, above the usual standard, with excellent staff and a spot right by Huasca's central square.

Breakfast was incredible, and we left full, satisfied, and ready for the day's adventure. I got the best night's sleep here, too. The staff were so kind and patient with the language barrier, and one of the English-speaking staff members made sure all our needs were taken care of. Highly recommend.
