Hotel Boutique Eden Costa

The staff were kind, but they couldn't really help, and communication was tough. Only one staff member spoke some English, while we know just a little Spanish. We stayed six weeks in this very nice small hotel with a lovely pool. Upgrades seemed to be happening gradually, as they often do at small places, but we weren't told that workmen would be right outside our kitchen, living room and bathroom windows during the first few days. There was dust, noise and no privacy. The hot water kept failing, so they upgraded the system, but didn't let us know. We ended up without any water at all. The air conditioner in the living room began leaking. We reported it, but for our last week and a half water kept running down the wall and onto the floor. Eventually they gave us a bucket and towels. They tried to tell us when a technician would come, but couldn't get the message across. Nobody ever came to fix it. The air conditioner still worked, so we could use it, but the whole thing was frustrating.

It's in a really good spot. Everything's nearby, and you can walk to the main beaches or take a taxi. The beds are very uncomfortable, though they said they'll replace them soon, and the air conditioner is extremely loud.

A great location, near good restaurants and Playa Chahue beach. The staff are very friendly and willing to accommodate requests.

Good value in a convenient location, and the staff were very friendly. The beds were the one downside, they're rock hard. Please get softer mattresses.
