I’d come back here to camp and explore Huatulco. It’s central, a few blocks from Chedraui, an Oxxo, and food and drink stands. The place has what you need, and the TV and AC work well. The service was good, though the owner or manager came across as rude. He abruptly announced that the pool was closing at 10, then shut it. Since guests pay to enjoy the facilities, I think they should let people stay in the pool overnight. I also liked a woman who worked there and hope I see her again. She’s beautiful. The biggest problem for me was the heat. With the AC on and the windows sealed shut, it felt like a sauna at night, and it was unbearable. The bathrooms need ventilation too, so toilet smells don’t linger while you shower. I hope they fix both issues. A friendlier manager and the occasional smile wouldn’t hurt either. I thought I saw a temple there, though the real image must be quite different. Anyway, if we return, this is where I want to stay. Go invest in your health, it’s a great place to relax.
