Playa Santa Cruz was lively and fun, with great swimming, and the beach was right by the hotel. We loved the clean rooms, which looked just like the pictures, and the family-run boutique feel. Staff were wonderful and the restaurants were great. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Huatulco!

The location is lively, with live music nearby and some weekend noise if your room faces the beach. Beach towels are available at the front desk, which is handy since the beach is just steps away. The room had a smart TV and air conditioning. It looked modern, though wear is already showing. Our room hadn't been fully cleaned when we checked in, and when we asked for it to be cleaned, nobody apologized. The front desk staff seemed unfriendly, though that may have been a language barrier.

The ocean view over Santa Cruz Beach was spectacular, and the host was great about accommodating us, including working with us through several changes to our plans. We stayed in a new, very clean hotel beside Restaurant Ve el Mar, in an oceanfront suite with one bed. It was simple and had air conditioning, but no refrigerator. We expected some noise because it is right on the beach, and it wasn't completely quiet late at night. I'd recommend the location.
