The taxi into the bigger townsite is quick, but agree on the fare first, it should only be 40pesos. Prices in town are cheaper too, since cruise ship tourism pushes them up around the bay. This little part of Huatulco feels like a hidden gem 💞. We had the quiet, relaxing trip my sister in law and I needed. It’s a lovely small resort right on a beautiful beach, with warm staff and great service. I’d recommend it for couples or a girls trip!!!

We complained repeatedly and eventually got a refund for the nights we didn’t stay, after managing to leave. Please choose another hotel. You’ll also be sharing the beach with all of Huatulco. The drinks were either watered down or loaded with sugar. At the exclusive restaurant, any meal took at least 30 minutes, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They had only two people cooking for more than 20 guests and gave no warning about the wait. The portions were tiny and the food barely edible, with no salt or seasoning. Lunch there was only snacks, and the pizza was an insult, as the photo shows. The regular lunch was a disgrace too. It’s shared with a lower-category hotel, which defeats the idea of paying for an exclusive experience. The food variety was tiny, and you had to ask buffet servers two or three times for a proper portion. Everyone seemed to end up ordering a burger. The photos show the food quality. Even arriving before 12.00 meant we couldn’t get into the hotel and had to figure things out in town ourselves. Later, I asked the bar for horchata water and was told it was only available at lunchtime. So much for all inclusive. The 4 starts and all inclusive promise badly misrepresent what you get. For the high price, this hotel feels like a scam.

The views are outstanding, and the prices are reasonable. We sometimes come to the hotel restaurant for breakfast even when we’re not staying there. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful 😀

Dinner and breakfast are the stronger meals, with a mix of buffet and made-to-order options. Lunch has an average selection and nothing really stands out. The hotel is in a nice spot in Huatulco for reaching the beach, and there are two big pools to enjoy.
