We liked this quiet, budget-friendly boutique hotel so much that we cancelled our other bookings to stay here for the remaining three weeks. The walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and tour options is easy, along unusually smooth, level sidewalks. All the staff were wonderful, and at least one lovely receptionist spoke excellent English. Our double room was perfectly clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony had a beautiful view. The mattresses were firmer than ours at home but still great. Breakfast was the best we've had in Huatulco, and the coffee was the best too. We'll definitely stay here again.

We arrived without a reservation and the lovely young woman at reception was happy to help and answer our questions. This is a quiet little boutique hotel that's easy on the budget, just minutes on foot from the centre of Santa Cruz and the beach. Our king room was clean and had air conditioning and a balcony, and the mattress was very comfortable. The only downside was the pair of lumpy, hard pillows. We'd absolutely stay again.

I came in with a cruise and found this place while walking around. Monica welcomed me, made me a coffee, and let me use the restaurant as a base even though it was closed. I didn't stay at the hotel, but Monica is a gem and the coffee was stellar. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

It's pretty loud here most of the time. Buses gather out front at 6:00 a.m., with lots of people talking and making noise. The bathroom layout is odd, with a window to the hallway, so you can hear people using the bathroom and showering. The properties at the end of the block are a bit limited, and there was no pool. For the same price, this place felt pretty basic compared with others in the area. There's a mezcal bar downstairs, but no restaurant.

Monica is really cool, and the rooms were super clean with a TV and AC. It's a good little place, though there's a lot of construction nearby as the area grows. I had a good two-night stay.
