That last night was unbearable. The hallway and my room began to smell strongly of sewage, and we had to move into my friends' room because we literally couldn’t breathe. The water heater also wasn’t working right. When we raised that, they told us “there was no problem,” as if we’d made it up. The air conditioning technician arrived late and said he didn’t know how to fix it. The manager didn’t show up until 2 p.m. the next day, and when she did, she was arrogant, unsympathetic, and not interested in helping. Before that, it was impossible to speak to anyone. We were sold a hotel, but it felt like an Airbnb in disguise: no real reception, no consistent staff, and no 24/7 security as promised. The place felt empty and almost abandoned. I didn’t see a single other guest during my stay. There was no sign or clear identification for the “hotel”; a security guard from the hotel next door greeted us, as if this were some makeshift extension. Upstairs, the floor seemed like a fake platform and creaked when we walked. A huge window looked out onto a kind of “city” that seemed like an old, abandoned set. The whole atmosphere felt like a horror movie. From the first minute, I felt unsafe and worried that something dangerous might happen, or that it could be a scam. There were too many inconsistencies, too little transparency, and a constant sense that nobody was in charge. I wouldn’t recommend it or go back.

The hot water barely lasts, so you end up showering cold. The TV isn’t smart, only has a few Spanish channels, and the picture is pixelated. The property is advertised as a hotel but doesn’t provide basic hotel services. It felt abandoned, with no visible guests, staff, or security, despite the listing promising 24/7 security. It was uncomfortable and unsafe, like a ghost hotel. The air conditioning in my room didn’t work from the first day. We reported it and were told someone would come at 10:00 a.m. the next day, but nobody had arrived by 2:00 p.m. The only way to contact them is through an operator called HostPal, and responses can take up to 10 hours. That’s unacceptable for a basic problem like air conditioning. When someone finally appeared, it was the manager, who was rude and confrontational, didn’t even say hello, and acted like we were wrong to complain. The place also seems neglected, with areas that look like an abandoned set built on a platform. Honestly, this isn’t a hotel, even though it’s advertised as one. It’s more like a poorly managed Airbnb that doesn’t deliver what it promises. I don’t recommend it and wouldn’t return.

We chose it because it was close to our event, but I definitely wouldn’t stay again. The rooms were very basic, with no amenities, and the kitchenette didn’t even have drinking water. There was no hot water in the bathroom. The man checking us in was on his own and had trouble finding parking. It was clear they were seriously short-staffed.

A first-time visitor should know that the hotel has no sign with its name, and people will direct you to Pia Suites. The place and surrounding area felt very safe, and the security guard downstairs was really friendly. I loved staying here, and the service made my trip more comfortable. ✨
