Casa Las Tortugas Petit Beach Hotel & Spa

We tried two kinds of rooms and preferred the less expensive inner rooms without a direct sea view. They were much more spacious and cozy, with a lovely balcony. The beachfront room cost more and was considerably smaller, and the sand made it less pleasant on windy days. I'd recommend the inner rooms. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, with a beach you can enjoy all day. Everyone was kind and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. Breakfast was phenomenal, the best we've had at a hotel in Mexico. The rooms were stylish and clean, with huge, enjoyable showers. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully designed. I especially liked the details, including having no televisions and water conveniently available throughout the property. From the front desk to the servers, everyone was welcoming and attentive. Yasmin's professionalism and care made our visit particularly memorable. This was our third visit, and it'll be our last. We literally eloped here, and had to remind them three times that it was our anniversary and that we got married at the hotel. They gave us two mimosas, lol. I wish they had a database to remember returning guests and special occasions. The way they nickel-and-dime guests is embarrassing. When illness in our family forced us to add a night, I asked if we could get the rate we had for the previous room, a $100 difference. We'd already spent thousands on this trip, but they offered only $60 off. They couldn't take off another $40? It hurt on principle. If there's a way to charge you, they will. The service left a bad taste, and I'll stay somewhere else next time. The drinks have gone downhill, too. They used to be good, but now they're sour and expensive. You could get much better drinks at nomade for the same price. The menu is odd, who wants pasta on the beach? The burger is great, but only available from 12-6. Breakfast is consistently good. And please add full-length mirrors to the rooms. I can't be the only one who wants to see a full outfit.

We had a great stay from Nov. 11-14. The property is well maintained and in a good location. There's a taxi stand right by the entrance, which is handy if you don't want to walk or the streets are flooded after rain. Breakfast is included every morning and was amazing, definitely don't skip it.
