Room 7, the apartment with an outside balcony, was one of the best places we’ve stayed. It had a kitchen and living room, a bedroom, and a separate toilet and shower. The kitchen was well equipped with a full-size fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, blender for smoothies and pina coladas, and toaster. The location is handy, one block from the main route between the ferry and beach, and four blocks from the beach, with eateries and mini supermarkets just minutes away. We moved here after our first hotel was awful. The inside rooms with balconies overlooking the pool are darker and a bit dingy. The pool only gets sun for 3-4 hours a day, and its filtration system wasn’t running, so the water was pretty skanky. Highly recommended, especially Room 7.

The bed was comfortable and the basic room was averagely clean, but this was the worst place to stay. A dripping shower head kept me awake, so I put a towel over it to quiet the sound. There was also a pump running all night, and I was tired throughout our stay. When we complained, the staff did nothing. They really don’t care about their customers.

We didn’t want to leave. It’s an easy walk to the main square and beach, but still peaceful, and it was one of the island’s best prices. The room was great, with strong AC, everything clean and working, and a little kitchenette that was handy for breakfast and leftovers. The friendly staff helped us arrange a golf buggy, which was great fun. Also, check out Big Fish around the corner, best fish on the island!!

I’d stayed here before and it was decent, but this visit was a disaster. We booked a room with a table and chairs, a bed, and a sofa bed, but were given only a small bed. They told us to enjoy our day while they looked for another bed, then had nothing when we got back and hadn’t called or messaged us. We had to scramble for new accommodation, and they still wanted to keep 50% of what we’d paid for the whole weekend. Booking had to get involved to secure our refund. While we waited for the hotel manager’s cancellation confirmation code, the clerk became increasingly agitated and threatened to call the police because we wouldn’t leave before the cancellation was confirmed. She was surly and nasty from check-in, then grew more aggressive. That clerk has no business in hospitality.
